Activity:
Hiking, cultural/historical
Summary:
Although the trail does run through the cemetery, there is a lot of history of immediate or extended families at the site. And, there is a plan to construct another trail along side the proposed right-of-way for Kootznoowoo Inc. shareholders to gain public access to their home sites. That trail, at the mid-point of the right-of-way, will veer off to the center of the peninsula to continue, as a second trail route, to Danger Point.
Length:
2.25 miles roundtrip
Elevation:
No elevation gain
Difficulty:
Easy
Starting Point:
The trailhead is on side the Chatham Straits side of the peninsula. Although there is no parking or restrooms available, those items will be in a grant proposal to construct.
