Sample Itineraries
Bike Petersburg and Wrangell
This six-day trip features three SEAtrails. Excluding airfare about $1,000 per person.
Day 1
Fly on Alaska Airlines into Petersburg. Secure lodging for two nights.
Day 2
Take chartered boat to LeConte Glacier to see harbor seals and calving glacier. Watch for Humpback Whales in Frederick Sound.
Day 3
Rent a bicycle and ride the Mitkof Highway Recreation Corridor. Camp at Ohmer Creek Campground. Stop at Blind River Rapids and Man-Made Hole on the way. Walk the Ohmer Creek trail in the evening.
Day 4
Ride to South Mitkof Ferry Terminal and board the Inter-Island Ferry Authority’s FV Stikine to Wrangell. Hike Mount Dewey. Stay at a bed and breakfast for two nights.
Day 5
Ride the Nemo Loop Road bike route.
Day 6
Return the bicycle and fly out on Alaska Airlines.
