Sample Itineraries
Yakutat Glacier Adventure
Day 1
Arrive around 12:00 noon, rent vehicle and secure lodging for 2 nights.
Day 2
Take chartered boat to Hubbard Glacier. Cruise through seal pupping grounds to view icebergs calving from the largest tidewater glacier in North America.
Day 3
Drive out Forest Highway 10 approximately 30 miles and cross the Dangerous River Bridge. The road terminates at a small parking area. Walk the Harlequin Lake trail, an easy 3/4 mile hike. View the Yakutat Glacier. Allow enough travel time back to Yakutat to return vehicle at airport and fly home.
