Yakutat Cannon Beach Surfing Camp Out
Day 1
Arrive Yakutat around 12:00 noon via Alaska Airlines. Rent vehicle at airport and surf gear in town, approximately 4 miles. Get directions to beach, about 5 miles. Set up camp at the Cannon Beach Pavilion or on the beach. Also available Forest Service camp platforms. Your choice.
Day 2
When the surf is not up enjoy the 14 miles or so of beach combing, whale watching, possible bear or moose sightings.
Day 3
Catch a few more waves. Take surf gear back and return rented vehicle at airport for evening plane departure.
