Summary:
Logging roads from Kake lead to several recreation access trails such as this one often used by hunters. The trail leads to the Big John Bay recreation cabin. The trail is marked in blue diamonds and pink flagging. Big John Bay offers excellent waterfowl, grouse, and black bear hunting. Contact the Petersburg Ranger District for Big John Bay Cabin information and cabin permit applications.
